The 9th Keswick Film Festival – Twice as Good!
Dates for your Diary: 8th – 10th February 2008 AND 10th – 13th April 2008
Did you come and see Ken Loach, Andrea Arnold and our great list of retrospectives, pre-releases and films you might have missed last February? Well, next year we are having two events and we’d love to see you at both.
February Mini-Fest – this year the Theatre by the Lake is not fully available in February so we are having ‘7 films and a bit of a do’ over the weekend of 8th – 10th starting at 6.30 pm on Friday evening and running till Sunday afternoon. We will be having a theme, guest directors and all the buzz of the big festival focussed on the Alhambra
The Big One – April (10-13) then we will be having the usual 4 days of film moved from February to April. There will be more guests, events, almost 30 films, the opening buffet on the Thursday for Pass Holders, a ‘Script to Screen’ workshop to find out how it happens and other excitements.
In the autumn we will be announcing more details, prices – there will be special offers for those coming to both, competitions for free passes and all the fun of the festival. Put the dates in your diary, get ready to book your travel and B&B and we look forward to seeing you all again.
