New Season

The new season starts on Sunday with Almodovar's Bad Education, starring Gael Garcia Bernal, the face you've seen on our brochure and posters.

Film Society of the Year Awards

Once again we've won the BFFS Best Programme Award. There was an embarrassing blip last year when we only came second, but that is now a win in 3 of the last 4 years.

End of Season

And The Winner Is...

Belleville Rendezvous has won the first BBC Four World Cinema Award, don't miss your chance to see it on the big screen as part of the 5th Keswick Film Festival. Brazilian drama City Of God won the audience award, picked by BBC4 viewers.

Another 'Keswick' film proved to be an award winner when Michael Winterbottom's In This World won The South Bank Show Award For Cinema.

BBC4 World Cinema Awards

A jury including Mike Figgis, Alex Cox and Robert Carlyle will select the winner of the BBC4 World Cinema Award tonight. All of the shortlisted films have been (or are to be) screened by the film club.

The shortlisted films are:
