Spring Programme

The spring programme has been added to the site and can be viewed here. More details on the films will be added over the coming weeks. You can also now vote for your favourite film of the autumn season in the poll to the right.

Festival Website

Don't forget to check out the new festival website at www.keswickfilmfestival.org. If you sign up and become a ‘Friend’ before 31st December you'll be in with a chance to win a pair of weekend passes for the festival.

Peace One Day - 21st September

Join us on the United Nations International Day of Peace with another chance to see Peace One Day; Jeremy Gilley's fascinating documentary of his attempts to persuade the global community to officially sanction a global ceasefire day; a day of non-violence; a day of Peace.

The new season of films starts on 18th September with The Chorus. Other highlights include a World Peace Day screening of Peace One Day, The Consequences of Love, Downfall, and Turtles Can Fly. The full programme is available here.

Film Society of the Year Awards 2005

Once again Keswick has picked up the best programme award at the British Federation of Film Societies' annual awards. We were also runners up in the Best Web Site category which was won by Oxon Park.

Come and join us

for a glass of wine to kick off the New Year and the spring season, before our first film, at 4.15pm. Don’t be shy - we are a club, after all - and if you don’t know anybody yet, just attack a member of the committee or introduce yourself to someone: you’re bound to have something in common and there are a lot of friendly people around.
