Born and Bred

We were sorry to disappoint you over the non-arrival of Born and Bred on Sunday, so we have arranged a screening of the film this Thursday (6th March) at 6pm, at the Alhambra.

This will be the proper 35mm version that should have been here on Sunday, so the sound should be as good as you are used to normally. Please phone me if you want to check or ask anything. Members' tickets will be £2 only (free to spring passholders of course).

2 Days In Paris Review

This week John Stakes shares his opinion on 2 Days In Paris.
"The film was continuously enjoyable with several laugh out loud moments, and deserved its inclusion in the Club's Spring season to counterbalance the more serious and socially gritty offerings on show"

FebFilm Feedback

Judging from the feedback forms it looks like most people enjoyed themselves at FebFilm. If you head over to keswickfilmfestival.org you'll be able to see how the audience rated each of the films. If you disagree you can also score the films on the website as well as leave comments on any of the films.

This Sunday we're back to our regular programme with 2 Days In Paris, 'Brilliantly written, superbly acted and hysterically funny, this is easily one of the best films of the year', says Matthew Turner of VIEWLONDON. And we'll start off proceedings with Breadmakers, a short film from
Edinburgh which won the heart of the Scottish member who easily persuaded Rod to get hold of it.
