New Website for the New Season

Over the summer break we've been busy working on a brand new website. If you head over to www.keswickfilmclub.org you can see the changes along with the new Autumn programme and we hope that you like both.

As well as giving the site a new fresh look we're moving details of all the films into a database, making it easier to search the hundreds of films the club has screened over the years. We've also got a Facebook page and provided options to share pages with other social bookmarking sites.

There's still more to come, hopefully before the Autumn season starts. Many of the older films still need updating, reviews and audience scores are on their way and all of the old festival programmes will be made available. Webmaster Stephen is also trying to think of other exciting things to add to the site.

If you have any problems, suggestions or feedback (good or bad) then don't hessitate to get in touch with Stephen( webmaster@keswickfilmclub.org).

Born and Bred

We were sorry to disappoint you over the non-arrival of Born and Bred on Sunday, so we have arranged a screening of the film this Thursday (6th March) at 6pm, at the Alhambra.

This will be the proper 35mm version that should have been here on Sunday, so the sound should be as good as you are used to normally. Please phone me if you want to check or ask anything. Members' tickets will be £2 only (free to spring passholders of course).

2 Days In Paris Review

This week John Stakes shares his opinion on 2 Days In Paris.
"The film was continuously enjoyable with several laugh out loud moments, and deserved its inclusion in the Club's Spring season to counterbalance the more serious and socially gritty offerings on show"
