AGM - Sunday 18th February 4:30pm

We are having our normal very brief AGM before Love Life, please come for 4.30 onwards to enjoy a free drink while we make decisions for the coming year.

We have moved our AGM back in the calendar to allow time for the accounts to be audited, so this meeting will cover 18 months (but will still not take long as all the info you need is on our website, please try to read it before the meeting). The election of officers and Trustees is essential so do please come along or we will not be able to continue.

Annual General Meeting 31st October

We are holding the club AGM at 4.15 pm on Sunday 31 October, in the Alhambra,  before the showing of Riders of Justice. It is important as always for the Club, but maybe more so than normal after a year of little activity; we need to get everything moving again.  Anyone who wants to help the club in any way is welcome at any time but the AGM is a good place to put yourself forward.

You can find more details on ways you can help, the agenda for the AGM and other documents on our AGM page.

AGM - This Monday (28th) at 7.00pm on ZOOM

We have decided to hold the AGM on ZOOM this year. The committee was torn between ZOOM - trying to offer all members the chance to attend even if you don't want to go to a cinema yet, but making it difficult for those members without internet access - or holding it in the Alhambra - which helps those with no internet but cuts out those who still want steer clear of cinemas. In the end we voted to try Zoom and the AGM will take place on

MONDAY 28 September at 7.00pm on ZOOM

Members should have already received instructions on how to join and a reminder will be sent before Monday, if you haven't please contact Vaughan (info@keswickfilmclub.org).

Details of the AGM including all the documents and reports can be found on the AGM page of the website.

AGM + Varda by Agnes - Sunday 22nd September

It's our AGM on Sunday at 4pm before this week's film Varda by Agnès at 5pm. If you are a member please come along to the AGM to find out more about the last year of the Club, there are more details on our website.

Agnès Varda directed 55 films in her 60 years in the industry. She presented this documentary about herself at the Berlin Film Festival this year with film notes that said "I don't want to do press, I don't want to speak about my work. After Berlin, the film will be shown instead of me speaking!" This became very prophetic when she died a month later, aged 90.

"A parting gift from one of the greatest directors who ever lived." - Clarisse Loughrey, Independent
